Growing up in South Africa, Carl Andile Holman (b. 1994) is an interdisciplinary photographer and director. His work explores themes of social identity and cultural change, with a commitment to representing his subjects with authenticity and honesty.
Based between Paris and Amsterdam, Carl’s clients include TEDx, VICE, Maxhosa, Nike and More Than Goals. Carl has exhibited his work in galleries like Art-Icon in Paris and at the Hungry Eye Fair in Amsterdam as well as at international art fairs like Les Rencontres d'Arles. His work has been published in GQ Magazine, Twyg Magazine, GUP Magazine and in a recent publication by 54 Ruum spotlighting artists from Africa, among others.
