Carl Andile Holman (b. 1994) is a South African interdisciplinary photographer and director. His work explores themes of social identity and cultural change, with a commitment to representing his subjects with authenticity and honesty.
Based between Paris and Amsterdam, Carl’s clients include TEDx, VICE, Maxhosa, NOWNESS, Nike and Lukhanyo Mdingi. Carl has exhibited his work at international art fairs including Paris Photo and Les Rencontres d'Arles. His work has been published in GQ, Der Greif, Cake Magazine, GUP Magazine, Twyg Mag and Mixmag, among others. In 2026 he published Nio Far - We Are One, the artist’s first self-published book, with launches in Amsterdam and London.
